Differences Between Forced Type Concrete Mixer and Self loading Concrete Mixer

The concrete mixer can be classified into theforced concrete mixer and the self loading concrete mixer according to the mixing principle.
     As for compulsory concrete mixer, the mixing drum is immobile, but the mixing shaft rotates. The mixing blades can mix materials in the mixing drum compulsorily, which is driven by the mixing shaft. As for self loading concrete mixer, when the mixing drum rotates, the mixing blades in the mixing drum raise materials up and then fall down by their own gravity, which achieves the mixing effect.
    If making a comparison between them, generally, the mixing effect of compulsory concrete mixer is stronger and it can mix mixtures into uniform concrete in 30s to 60s. However, it takes a long time to produce concrete with special use or particular kind. The self loading concrete mixer needs two times or even longer time and it may be impossible or difficult to mix special concrete. With the same mixing capacity, the driving power of forced type concrete mixer is stronger than self falling concrete mixer. The total power of the equipment is correspondingly increasing. Because of the short operating cycle, the increase of the unit energy consumption to produce concrete is not very big.
    When synthesizing the efficiency, function, quality and energy consumption of mixing, users had better choose compulsory concrete mixer as the main engine for concrete mixing plant. Users can choose self-falling concrete mixer as the main engine only when the diameter of crushed stone is bigger than 150mm.
