The Selection of the Capacity of Concrete Mixer

1. Give the priorities of the existing machinery in the company and the insufficient part is to consider other resources.

2. Selection according to the concrete required quantity. When there are large required concrete quantities, it is better to choose machinery equipment with large capacity (for example, concrete mixing plant) in order to reduce the number of using machinery equipment and save costs. During the construction schedule, if the required concrete quantity changes greatly, choose the small concrete mixer, which is convenient to adjust and use.

3. The capacity of concrete mixer can adapt to the maximum size of concrete aggregate. Generally, the bigger the aggregate size is, the larger the capacity of the concrete mixer is. As the mixing blades of compulsory concrete mixer are easy to abrade and be blocked, the aggregate size should be relatively small and it often does not exceed 40-60mm.

4. The discharging capacity of concrete mixer should match with the charging capacity of transport machine (such as trolley, tip lorry, mixer truck, etc.), which can fully improve the production efficiency of mixing machinery. 

According to construction experience, small concrete mixing plant mainly chooses the concrete mixer with 0.25-0.35 cubic capacity and large concrete mixing plant chooses concrete mixer with more than 0.75 cubic capacity.
